Matt Burden and Rosey Mushens topped the podium at the Virtual CC 10-mile time trial that took place near Abergavenny on Sunday morning.
Burden (73 Degrees Bicycles WestSide Coaching RT) clocked a time of 19-03 to finish as the fastest rider on the day and clinch the top prize by a margin of just four seconds.
He adds this victory to the one he achieved last weekend at the Cardiff 100 Miles RCC 10 and the Poole Wheelers CC 25 at the start of the month.
Burden will be looking to continue his excellent form over the remainder of the open season, and hopefully claim another victory at the Chippenham & District Wheelers three-up at the beginning of October.
David Griffiths (Bioracer-Moriarty Bikes) was the man to finish second after clocking a time of 19-07 to just miss out on the top prize.
Christopher Gibbard (Bynea Cycling Club) completed the podium line up after finishing his run with a time of 19-12 respectively.
Rosey Mushens (73 Degrees Bicycles WestSide Coaching RT) clocked a time of 23-47 to top the standings in the women’s event.
Mushens adds this victory to the second placed finish she achieved last weekend at the Cardiff 100 Miles RCC 10 and the third place she achieved at the start of the month at the Poole Wheelers CC 25.
She will be hoping her good form continues over the remainder of the season, and that she can add more positive results to her record.
