Timothy Torrie (trainSharp Development Team) took top spot at the Finsbury Park CC 25-mile time trial, while Louise Robinson (Essex Roads CC) was the fastest in the women’s event.
22-year-old Torrie rode a time of 52:12 to come out on top over this distance.
Second fastest was Luke Clarke (TMG Horizon CT) who managed a time of 53:09, while third was Jacob Storey (Partenza-Nude Espresso RT) who was just over ten seconds off the pace, finishing in 53:20.
This was Torrie’s second consecutive win of 2022 so far, having also won the King’s Lynn CC 25 in early April. The only future events he has entered so far are the National 10 and National 25 Championships, although he is sure to enter a few more as he prepares for those two.

Emily Knight (Bishop’s Stortford CC) was second in a time of 1:08:37 and the final podium spot went to Hilary Briggs (Serpentine Running Club) who clocked in at 1:13:23.
The F14/25 course begins on Cotton Road and leads riders up the B1042 via Tadlow Road, they follow the road up until the A603 roundabout where they are to turn south down the A1198 until reaching Flecks Lane where they follow through until Wendy and ride towards the start where they take the same loop and continue until 25-miles.
