Ryan Davies and Jo Buckland were winners in the North Hampshire Road Club Open 10 mile time trial on the H10/8 at Bentley.
It was a very warm and sunny day with a headwind on the return leg that proved to resist the fast times that the course normally warrants.
Davies of AS Test Team made the most of the conditions and was first in 20.05, 33 seconds quicker than second placed Pete Dyson of East London Velo in 20.38.
Completing the men’s podium was Andy Langdown of Blazing Saddles in 20.52 – enough to make him first veteran.
Buckland of Bush Healthcare CRT was first woman in 24.40, a healthy 1.13 quicker than second placed Joy Payne of Amersham Road Cycling Club in 25.53. Ali Walters of VC Godalming & Haslemere was third lady in 26.06.
