Anabell Orenz and Andrew Feather produced dominant performances to claim victory at the Chew Valley CC hill climb on Saturday morning.
Feather (BCR Racing) produced a time of 4-56 to secure his fourth consecutive victory at hill climb events.
The 33-year-old rider was also victorious at the 1st Chard Wheelers hill climb last weekend and he also topped the podium twice in one weekend on the eighth and ninth of September. He managed to win the Somerset RC and Dursley RC hill climbs.
Sam Lindsey (73 Degrees CC) finished second after clocking a time of 5-03. The 26-year-old rider has finished second at his last four events. Each event he has finished behind eventual winner Andrew Feather.
The third spot on the podium was claimed by Phil Stonelake (Bristol Road Club) who finished with a time of 5-12.
The 43-year-old has now had two podium finishes throughout the hill climbing season. Most recently finishing third at the Dursley RC hill climb at the start of September.
Anabell Orenz (North Cotswold CC) was the fastest woman on the day as she clocked a time of 6-34. The female rider from Gloucestershire was also victorious at the Stratford Dovers CC hill climb last weekend and has carried her good form in to this week’s event.
