Jonathan Morris (Derby Mercury RC) clinched the Sunnycam Cup with a comfortable victory in the Worcester St Johns CC & Wyre Forest CC HC up Shelsey Walsh.
The 25-year-old from Perton in Wolverhampton, who finished four in the Glossop Kinder Velo hill climb last weekend, took victory on this occasion with a winning time of two minutes and 54 seconds.
Now in its fourth year, the Shelsey Walsh climb takes riders up the closed road hill which is used for car competitions throughout the year.
The 1,000-yard hill has an average gradient of 11 per cent and maxes out at 17 per cent as it ramps up into the Worcestershire countryside.
Espoir Cameron Biddle (Rivet Racing) clinched second in 3:05.01, while host club junior rider Ollie Morgan (Worcester St Johns CC) too third, a further four seconds behind.
Phil Whiteley (Worcester St Johns CC) clinched the veteran prize in 3:20, which was eight seconds faster than Steven Prince (Stourbridge CC).
A closely-fought juvenile competition saw Charlie Genner clock 3:45 to beat Worcester St Johns CC team-mate Ben Lawrence by 10 seconds.
Eleven-year-old Tomos Pattison (Halesowen A&CC) clinched the under-14 prize, finishing in 4:02.
Denise Burrows (Wyre Forest Cycle Racing) was the only woman rider and finished in 4:29 for victory.
