Kieron Davies of Drag2zero laid down a quick time to take top prize in the Acme Wheelers Rhondda 25 in Rhigos on Sunday.

Davies has been in fantastic form of late and clinched the Welsh 25-mile Champions just a few weeks ago on the same course, as well as the Sportzmad TT earlier in the week.

Here, the 30-year-old stopped the clock at 45.37 to record the fastest time by 1.30 ahead of second-placed Joshua Williams of Team Bottrill to take top prize. Ken Buckley of Spokes BPC Racing was third in a time of 47.52.

Another Team Bottrill rider, Paul Jackson put in a fantastic ride to be fastest veteran with the 51-year-old taking fifth overall in 49.26.

Etienne Georgi of Team Wiggins took the espoir prize with a time of 50.15 placing him at 12th overall.

Alice Lethbridge followed up her win in the Farnham RC 10 on Saturday with victory in the women’s category, storming round the course in 52.25 wearing the colours of Drag2zero.

Katrina Bowie of Team Bottrill was second fastest woman in 56.07 and Crystal Spearman of NoPinz was third in 56.42. The team prize was narrowly taken by Drag2zero.
