Gunther Zechmann averaged 26mph in Northaw to win the Finsbury Park CC Hilly 10 event on Saturday.
The Austrian, riding for Phoenix CC, won by 38 seconds with Richard Price of London Phoenix CC finishing second in 23.42.
It was the second time Price had finished runner-up in quick succession with him finishing second in the Easterly CC event last weekend, another hilly course over 26 miles.
Ben Stowe of Hemel Hempstead CC rounded off the top three with a ride of 23.45, just three seconds off the pace of Price. Niall Digby of Sigma Sport was top veteran, he finished seventh overall in a time of 25.12.
Anna Dearing finished 17th overall to take the women’s prize, the veteran Chelmer CC rider completing in 27.25.
Annabel Sill of Kinetic Cycles was second woman in 29.03 and in third was Tracy Van Der Merwe of Finchley RT in 31.08.
