Team Bottrill’s Stuart Travis made it three wins in a row after taking victory in the 10-mile Team Salesengine.co.uk in Cambourne on Saturday.

Travis was well under the 20-minute mark, stopping the clock at 19.34 to take the win. It follows hot on the heels of another 10-mile win in the VC Sevale event at the end of March and a 25-mile win at a Lea Valley event.

SSLL RT’s veteran rider Andy Jackson wasn’t far off the pace, coming home second in 19.51.

Travis and Jackson were the only two riders to go under 20 minutes with third-placed Rob Young of Team Vision Racing-Silverhook finishing in 20.26.

The event had a big field with 131 riders completing the course and top woman rider on the day was Bronwen Ewing of Rye and District Wheelers CC who completed in 22.45.

Second woman was Katja Rietdorf of Born to Bike in 23.06 and third was Lindsay Clarke of Fenland Clarion CC in 23.44.
