Adrian Hughes (Seamons CC) clocked a time of 56 minutes and 33 seconds to clinch victory in the Birkenhead North End CC 25.
Hughes whose closest to a win this season came with a second place in the Chester Road Club 25 went one better on this occasion.
The D25/3 course is not known for its fast times and sees riders head down the A506 before turning through Bickerstaffe and doing two loops of an out and back on the A570.
The undulating and technical route sees riders make various turns into the wind.
In a close battle for the podium places Andrew Connery (Liverpool Phoenix CC) was edged into second with a time of 56.47, while just two seconds behind in third was David Turner (Cleveleys CC).
Fastest woman was Hannah MacDonald (Liverpool Century RC) in 1 hour and 40 seconds.
