Kris Whitelaw (Muckle CC) took victory by over a minute in the North Tyneside Riders event ran over 12 miles.
He clocked a time of 27.58 which was easily enough for victory ahead of Andrew Hall (GS Metro) who finished in 29.12.
The battle behind the leading two was for third place which saw Russell Richardson (Teesdale CRC) finish just three seconds faster than Steven Craggs (Blaydon CC).
Richardson’s time also made him fastest veteran while the fastest woman prize went to Jennifer Holland (Tyne Tri) in 35.57.
