This event is being run on the WE25/01 course.
Start in Eddleston Village at the junction of Old Manse Road with A703. Ride for 1.1 miles north on the A703 until left turn onto Shiplaw Road (signed Shiplaw Lamancha). Carry on for 0.9 miles to the top of the Shiplaw climb where the road veers to the right. Stay on this road for a further 2.8 miles to left turn at Whim onto A701(Give way at junction). Follow the A701 for 4.7 miles through Lamancha to left turn onto B7059 in Romannobridge just after the start of the 20mph restriction. Follow B7059 for 3.4 miles to left turn onto A72. Follow the A72 for 3.4 miles to turn left onto unclassified road (signed Eddleston via Meldons). Follow unclassified road through the Meldons for 5.3 miles to just after entering the 20mph restriction in Eddleston. Turn sharp left into the grounds of Barony Castle. Final climb up to the out building above Black Barony Castle 0.5 miles, average 6.3% gradient. Approximate distance 22 miles.
