start approximately 1.8 miles north of topcliffe village, in the slip road leading from the total garage / little chef on the a168 n bound carriageway, by a bt manhole cover just before telegraph pole no 58. proceed along the a168/a19 for 4.33 miles to junction signposted a168 northallerton. follow the slip road where left (care) to roundabout. take the 4th exit, signposted york, wetherby a19 (a168), to rejoin the a19 5.07 miles. retrace route along the a19/a168 to finish at a drain cover by a small asphalt area approximately 50 metres s from the exit of the a168 diner / garage (10.00 miles.)
