Parking
There is ample parking in Hatherleigh in the Market area –
sufficient for 400 vehicles. It is FREE on Sundays till 13.00.
There is to be NO PARKING other than for appointed officials in the Community Centre Car Park and no bikes allowed into the building.
Course

Start close to the junction of the A3072 and the road leading from the Hatherleigh Industrial Estate). Enter the A3072 and proceed in a westerly direction past Highampton to Beara Cross. Bear right, still on A3072 past Brandis Corner to Dunsland Cross. Turn left onto A3079 to Halwill Junction. Take first exit at roundabout into Station Road and Higher Station Road. Stay on unclassified road to Beara Cross. At Beara Cross go left onto A3072. Repeat circuit for the 32.6 mile distance. On reaching Beara Cross for the third time go straight on to A3072 and retrace the outward route back to Hatherleigh.
Finish opposite the road into the Industrial Estate
Team’s Responsibility: - It is the responsibility of the riders in each team to take the correct routes at Beara Cross and return to the finish the third time they get there. First time bear left, second time turn back hard left. Third time the team bears right for the finish.

Warming Up
Once the event has started no teams are to use the course while warming up. There is ample space on the A386 to the North and South of the town.
Presentation of awards
This will take place approximately 30 minutes after the last team has finished and will be made by Claire Tyson, Chairman of Hatherleigh Town Council and Colin Lewis, President of the Mid-Devon Cycling Club.
