Event Headquarters: Wodson Park Sport Centre Wadesmill Road Ware Hertfordshire SG12 0UQ Please park in the sports centre car park as directed by the parking marshall. Please sign on and collect your number from the hall. Cleats must not be worn in the hall. The organiser has been warned by the hall management that any damage arising from the wearing of cleats in the hall will be re-charged. We would be grateful for your co-operation by not wearing cycling shoes in the hall. Route to start and back from finish: To Start: Turn right out of Wodson Park sports centre car park. Shortly after go straight over roundabout (straight ahead) and ride across the bridge over the A10 to the next roundabout. The start is adjacent to this roundabout. Riders may warm up by riding down towards Wadesmill along the 'old' A10. COURSE F10b/10 (2015) START (GR357164) on B1170/A10 approx 50 yards before entrance to A10 northbound, at the first drainage grid before National speed limit sign. Proceed to join A10 northbound and continue over RAB junction with A120 (approx 4.3mls) to:- TURN at the next RAB, junction with B1368 (5.2mls) and retrace outward route over RAB junction with A120 to:- FINISH (GR 364172) at a point on A10 underneath the overbridge for Cold Christmas Lane. Riders MUST NOT STOP at the finish. They shall continue for 0.7 miles and exit the A10 at B1170 for Ware. To HQ after finish: Take 1st exit off the A10 after finish. At roundabout take 3rd exit onto A1170. Wodson Park sports centre is 200 metres from the roundabout. No cars are allowed near the start or finish areas except for those used by officials and helpers directly related to the event. General Notes: 1/ All riders must wear a HARD SHELL HELMET that meets an internationally accepted safety standard. 2/ It is recommended that a working red rear light, either flashing or constant, is fitted to the machine in a position visible to following road users and is active whilst the machine is in use. 3/ Following cars are not permitted. 4/ No U-turns in the start or finish areas. 5/ Observers will be used during the event. Dangerous riding causes accidents and can jeopardise the sport. 6/ You must follow the designated routes to the start and after the finish. 7/ Whilst marshals will be used on the course, the onus is on all riders to make themselves familiar with the course.
