Start – at the lay-by approximately 200 yds short of the Tretower village signs on the A479 heading in a North Westerly direction (i.e. UP Pengenfford from the Cwmdu side). Continue on the A479 for approximately 9 miles to roundabout at bottom of new Talgarth bypass where take the first exit left for 8.5 miles along the B4650 to Bwlch via Llangorse (distance 17.5 miles). At Bwlch junction with A40 (Give Way) turn left onto A40 and descend 4 miles to finish opposite entrance to Glan Usk Estate (convenient lay-by/access) on the A40 eastbound approximately 300yds short of the Nantyffin Junction with the A479. Total distance approximately 21.5 miles
