Start on Raglan – Mitchel Troy Unclassified road at old FH post alongside drain 10 yards north-east of ‘Dorivore’ dwelling and approx 100 yards north-east of Road Junction sign on opposite side of road, a mile north-east of Raglan.
Proceed north-eastwards, passing John Deere tractors depot towards Monmouth to junction with A40, one mile west of Mitchel Troy (4.034 miles) where turn left with care to join A40. Continue past Services to take first exit to continue on A40 (where road leaves A449) to Raglan roundabout (9.120 miles) where take 3rd exit (A40) to Abergavenny (Hardwick) roundabout (16.720 miles). Encircle roundabout taking 6th exit (17.281 miles) and retrace on A40 to Raglan roundabout (24.765 miles) where take 2nd exit (A40) to finish 350 yards east of roundabout in line with lamp standard WB103 at far end of lay-by on left (25.016 miles).
