Emily Varley (Hitchin Nomads CC) concluded her season by taking victory in the East Anglian VTTA 25, while Andy Thomas (Lindsey Roads Cycling Club) took the open honours by just four seconds.
Varley and Thomas both took their first open victories of the season after battling against windy conditions.
The new F2C/25 course was used for the second time due to the F2A being out of action due to long-term roadworks at the Caxton Gibbet roundabout.
Other parts of the country had seen heavy rain, but in Cambridgeshire it was warm and sunny throughout.
However, a blustery wind made the return leg hard and times suffered as a result.
Highways have partially resurfaced the Madingley roundabout – to be completed next week – already made that turn much faster.
Varley, aged 30, stopped the clock in a time of one hour and five seconds to take the women’s victory.
The Hitchin Nomads CC rider placed third in the ECCA 100 and 50-mile events but took victory over the shorter distance.
Veteran Jen Clegg (Team Bottrill) finished second in 1-05-23 and Ann Shuttleworth (Cambridge CC) concluded the podium positions in third (1-06-47).
“It was a nice way to end the season for me,” said Varley.
“It was a hard race – a very strong head wind in one direction and then a blasting tail wind in the other!
“The wind made it difficult to pace it. I enjoyed it though and we were very lucky with the weather.
“Conditions were alright, but the double roundabout at Camborne was in really bad condition - pot holes, gravel and fundamentally a double roundabout.
“The rest of it was fine. They've resurfaced the road at Madingley, which is lush now.”
Veteran rider Thomas posted the quickest time of the day winning the open event in 52-36.
The Lindsey Roads Cycling Club finished third in both the Rutland CC and Tickhill Velo Club 10-mile events last month and took victory on this occasion.
Fellow veteran Kevin Tye (VeloRefined Rule 5) finished just four seconds behind in 52-40 and Nic Pillinger (St Neots CC) finished third (52-50).
Quickest road bike competitor was Michael Weaver (Rockingham Forest Wheelers) who was the only rider in the category to beat the hour, finishing in 58-30.
Richard Hutt (Harp RC) finished second road bike in 1-03-41 and Paul Williamson (St Neots CC) was third (1-04-16).
