Wrekinsport CC team-mates Tomos Hales and Hayley Wells battled to clear victories in the Paramount CRT charity event over an undulating 20 miles.
Meanwhile, host club rider Jonathan Goh continued his winning run to clinch his second consecutive road bike victory.
The new course saw riders complete two laps of a triangled shaped course before a final climb up to the finish.
Hales, aged 31, recorded a winning time of 46 minutes and 51 seconds which was over two minutes clear of his nearest competitor.
After finishing seventh in the Velotik RT 15-mile event last month Hales, from Telford, took his first open victory of the season on this occasion.
Isaac Russell (Team PB Performance) led the battle behind with his time of 49-06 enough for second on scratch ahead of Jonathan Whittaker (Army Cycling) in third (49-20).
Meanwhile, quickest veteran on scratch was Jonathan Mills Keeling (Aerologic RT) with his time of 50-16 good enough for sixth overall.
“It was good, quite a sporting course and a tailwind up the main climb and headwind back down the old A5 (B5061),” said Hales.
“Having the wind on the climb was probably the best, but there was just a lot of it. The wind wasn’t as bad as the previous day as that was a lot stronger.
“I managed to hold my time trial position the whole way round, it’s quite a sheltered course. There was a couple of kickers and I had to get out of the seat to climb over the top. It was good to race it on a time trial bike.
“I’ve got two time trials next week and then the London Marathon.”
In the women’s event Wells was a clear victor taking her first open victory of the season in a time of 52-20.
Road bike competitor Emma Brown (Paramount CRT) was the only other female competitor taking second in 1-06-47.
“Storm Kathleen was always going to add a bit of spice to this course and make riding a time trial bike that little more challenging,” added Wells.
“This new course had a bit of everything from technical sections, plenty of little kickers and a fast blast down the old A5.
“We were super lucky that the sun made an appearance and it stayed dry for the race.
“I really enjoyed the different elements the course had to offer, felt pretty strong out there today and my confidence to dial in my position and hold it during gusty conditions is slowly building.
“I feel like some of the winter hill training is starting to pay off, however the last hill at the end was not welcomed when the tank was already empty.
“I’m chuffed to have picked up first woman, but it was such a shame there weren’t more females on the start line.
“It was such a brilliant event organised by Paramount CRT, I’m looking forward to riding this course again.”
A closely fought road bike category saw Goh post a winning time 51-12 which was just 14 seconds faster than Scott Palmer (Aerologic RT) in 51-26.
Completing the road bike podium positions was Mark Fenn (Shropshire CCA) who completed the undulating course in 56-49.
