Hosting club GTR - Return to Life P/B Streamline took honours in the 4-up Team Time Trial Championship, while Musselburgh RCC were the only women’s team.
A team consisting of veterans Douglas Watson, Ray Wilson, Marc Anderson and Liam Bard covered the 31.5-mile out and back course in a winning time of one hour, two minutes and 42 seconds.
The WW31/02 saw riders start at the Eglington Country Park outside Kilwinning in North Ayrshire before competing over two laps down to the turn outside Troon.
Last year GTR - Return to Life P/B Streamline were also Scottish team time trial champions winning the 3-up event with the ever-reliable Watson also part of that winning team.
The 3-up took place on the same WW31/02 course with GTR - Return to Life P/B Streamline posting a time of 1-01-21 on that occasion.
Hosting club GTR - Return to Life P/B Streamline also took second with veterans Chris Smart and John Routledge joined by Terry Wilkinson, with the trio finishing over a minute back in 1-03-56.
The battle for second was a close one with the Vanelli-Project GO four-man team of Jason Roberts, Robert Friel, Richard McDonald and Jesse Dawson a further seven seconds back (1-04-03).
Last season’s runners-up Torvelo Racing this time had to share fifth place with a young Spokes Race Team.
Junior riders Cameron Adam and Alasdair Baillie formed the Spokes Race Team alongside under-23 competitor Craig Paterson.
The only women’s team were Musselburgh RCC with riders Louise Presslie, Julie Woods, Rebecca Clark and Sasha Baggaley combining to stop the clock in 1-35-57.
