360cycling team-mates Kamil Waligora and Tristan Pilling proved quickest by some margin at the Warrington Road Club two-up 25-mile time trial in Cheshire on Saturday afternoon.
The duo clocked 52-26 for the J2/9 circuit near Goostrey, giving them victory by 1-39 from runners-up Matt Morris and Adam Taylor of Wigan Wheelers.
Third fastest meanwhile were the 360cycling pair of veteran Joseph Cadwallader and juvenile Davey Allanson with 56-58.
Fastest pairing on road bikes was the Manchester Wheelers team of Chris Lockyer and Sean Cordell, whose time of 1-04-59 was the joint seventh fastest pair in the field.
This event used the popular J2/9 course which begins to the north of Lower Withington and heads on an anti-clockwise circuit taking in Chelford, Ollerton, Allostock, Cranage and Twemlow Green.
It is the same course where, back in August, Pilling proved quickest in the Weaver Valley CC 25-mile event in a time of 51-37. He will next be aiming for glory in a solo capacity at next weekend’s hill-climbs promoted by Rossendale Road Club on Crown Point and West Pennine Road Club on Blackstone Edge.
This win at the Warrington Road Club two-up was Waligora’s first victory of the season, although he placed second at the Wigan Wheelers 25 back in May as well as third at the North Lancashire Road Club 10 in April.
There were no female finishers in this event.
