Simon McNamara (Sigma Sports) and Sally Turner (HUUB WattShop) were the quickest in the men’s and women’s events respectively in the VTTA (Surrey/Sussex) 10.
McNamara covered the course in a time of 20 minutes and 55 seconds to finish quickest on scratch and age adjusted time.
The G10/87 saw riders start and finish near East Hoathly before heading along the A22 to Horsebridge, near Hailsham, before making the return journey.
Scratch rider McNamara, aged 48, has won three events already this season and added another to his collection finishing 23 seconds clear of his nearest opponent and was also the quickest rider on age adjusted time.
The course is a familiar one to McNamara who won two events on the G10/87 last year and he added another win to his tally on this occasion.
Leading the battle behind was Matthew Woods (Eastbourne Rovers) in his first open time trial of the season clocking 21-19.
A further eight seconds behind was Cris Coxon (Brighton Mitre) who completed the course in 21-27.
In the women’s event 43-year-old Turner recorded a finishing time of 23 minutes and one second and finished second veteran overall on adjusted time overall.
Turner also won the East Sussex CA 10 last month on the same course clocking 22-55 on that occasion and was just slightly slower this time out.
Third place on age adjusted time was Woods who led Eastbourne Rovers to the team prize alongside David Clark and Adam Rogers.
