A combined team of Wigan Wheelers and Tactic Sport RT took a clear victory in the Shropshire CCA four-up team time trial.
Over the 50-kilometre course in Shropshire a team of Matt Morris, Stephen Feeney, Adam Taylor and Carl Potter posted a winning time of one hour, five minutes and 37 seconds.
The K52/50KM saw teams start in Edgmond, Shropshire before the first undulating leg on the B5062 out to Crudgington.
After turning left a quicker second leg saw competitors join the A442 before turning at Shawbirch and heading back past Crudgington and straight on to Hodnet.
Teams then retraced their steps back to Crudgington before turning back to the start/finish at Edgmond.
Morris won the Preston Wheelers 25 in June and was joined by Wigan Wheelers team-mate Adam Taylor and the Tactic Sport RT duo of Stephen Feeney and Carl Potter.
Wrekinsport trio Adam Mumford, Ben Southgate and Tomos Hales were joined by Revolution Racing rider Dean Callister with the team finishing second in 1-07-04.
Completing the podium positions were Paramount CRT with their team of Chris Riley, Mason Durant, Simon Romei and Rob McGregor stopping the clock in 1-09-17.
The fastest all road bike team were Bridgnorth CC with Chris Childs, Jason Mayer, Tim Beardmore and Tom Herbert coming home fifth overall and just 1-09 outside the overall podium.
In the women’s competition Paramount CRT were the quickest of the two teams with their quartet of Thea Osmund-Smith, Hayley Wells, Caitlin Burke and Jayne Powell coming home in 1-24-36.
The second women’s team was Wrekinsport CC with Bethan Pickering, Deb Hutson-Lumb, Victorian Doran and Helen Blake combining for a time of 1-29-23.
