Conrad Moss continuing his winning streak as fastest man with Tori Loze claiming the prize for quickest woman at the City Cycles Couriers 10-mile time trial in Devon on Sunday morning.
Primera-Teamjobs rider Moss was quickest overall, as well as quickest veteran, in 18 minutes and 46 seconds, earning a comfortable victory ahead of fastest veteran Blake Pond (AeroCoach) who was 1-54 back in 19-40, with Beach Roads CC’s William Barr taking the final podium spot in 19-43.
This marks an incredible 11th successive time trial win for Moss with 10 of those coming this season including triumphs at Alltrax 10 in May, and June’s successes at the Giant Helston 25 and Royal Navy & Royal Marines Cycling Association 10.
Loze took victory in a tight finish in the women’s race, with the North Devon Velo rider clocking 24-02 which was 12 seconds ahead of Alice Lake (Cranbrook Cycle Club) in 24-14.
Meanwhile, St Austen Wheelers’ Rose Willis – was fastest female veteran taking third overall in 24-28.
This event, run on the S4/10 course, starts on the A38 just south west of Buckfastleigh opposite Dean Prior Parish Church, before heading northeastwards towards Exeter then turning towards Ashburton, taking the A38 towards Plymouth and retracing the outbound route past Ashburton and Buckfastleigh, finishing just before Dean Prior Church.
