Dominant Adam Duggleby was fastest overall at the VTTA Yorkshire 25-mile time trial in North Yorkshire on Sunday, while Angela Hannon-Flaherty was quickest female.
Duggleby (Chapeau! Vive le Velo) clocked 48-42 and was quickest by 46 seconds with second spot going to his team-mate Richard Sharp, while Ryan Hall (Adept Cycling) was another two and a half minutes back in third.
Seacroft Wheelers’ Angela Hannon-Flaherty was quickest female in a time of 1-00-59 which was 44 seconds better than Selby CC’s Beth Grogan, while third in the open event was Caroline Ratcliff (Ferryhill Wheelers) with 1-03-20.
Fastest on veterans standard in the over-40 category was Richard Sharp with a plus of 16-32, which was over two minutes better than Matthew Asquith (Otley CC) with +14-27.
In the over-50 category it was Neil Cleminshaw (Chapeau! Vive Le Velo) who took the win with +15-23 while Andrew Gallacher (SVTTA) was second with +14-56.
Ray Hall (Adept Cycling) was top over-60 with +14-34 from an actual time of 56-17, while top over-70 was Tim Garwell (Otley CC) whose actual time of 56-16 gave him a plus of 18-07.
Sue McFarlane (Army Cycling) was the fastest of the over-40 female veterans with a time of 1-01-59 giving her a plus of 10-37, while best over-50 veteran was Angela Hannon-Flaherty with +14-10.
The event included a 72” medium gear category, and the best there was Jymmy Trevor (Jem Hadar Racing) in 1-03-06.
