Conrad Moss (Primera-Teamjobs) went quickest in the Ross-on-Wye CC 25-mile time trial, while Angela Carpenter (a3crg) was the fastest in the women’s event.
47-year-old scratchman Moss completed the distance in an impressive 46:31, a new personal best for the veteran.
Second fastest was Christopher Gibbard (Bynea CC) who finished just under two minutes off the pace at 48:21. The final podium position went to Dean Robson (Velo Sport Jersey) who clocked 49:23.
Moss didn’t compete in his first open time trial this season until June this year - since then he has won every single one of the four, including today.
In the women’s event it was prolific time trial rider and veterans national champion Angela Carpenter to head the field, finishing the R25/7 course in 53:32.
In second place was Joanne Jago (Performance Cycles CC) her final time was one hour flat. Taking the last available podium spot was Emma Wyatt (Hereford & Dist Whs) as she clocked in at 1:00:11.
The two winners were also the fastest veterans on standard. As for other awards there was a team award which was won by Team Echelon, their team consisting of Tim Wood, Simon Adcook and Stuart Day.
