Oliver Milk (Epic Orange RT) was the fastest man in the DAP CC 10-mile time trial, while Becky Ridge (TPH Racing) mirrored that feat in the women’s event as she won the women’s prize at the event in Norfolk on Saturday.
Milk completed the 10-mile course in 20:29, while the nearest competition came from Mark Richards of the promoting club who finished just four seconds behind in 20:33. Nick Partridge (VC Baracchi) was the next fastest, clocking a time of 20:57.
In the women’s event it was Becky Ridge that finished quickest, she clocked in at 22:51.
Second spot went to Denise Hurren (Sole Bay Cycle Sport) as she rode a time of 23:41, Kate Churchill (VC Baracchi) was the rider in third. Her time being 24:29.
Milk’s last win came at the CC Breckland 10 in June, he has only been riding once a month since that but has been able to pick up another podium finish in that time, a second place finish at the VC Norwich 10 in July. He is next scheduled to ride in the Kings Lynn CC 10 next weekend where he will look to acquire back-to-back wins for the first time this year.
The last event for Ridge was the National 10-mile Championships where she managed a top 10 finish.
