Actual fastest tandem was the record-breaking Newbury Velo pair of Rachael Elliott and Ian Greenstreet in 21-25, who were 2-35 ahead of runners-up Joe and Emma Shepherd of the New Forest CC.
In the solo event fastest on a time trial bike was Paul Jones (Primera TeamJobs) in 22-10 while six seconds further back was Scott Warden (Charlotteville CC) in second, with third spot going to VC Venta’s juvenile Bobby Buenfeld in 22-52.
The Road Bike prize went to juvenile Charlie Shepherd (Solent Pirates Youth CC) in 25-59 which was 34 seconds ahead of second-placed Jason Harrison (Sotonia CC), with the final podium place going to Stephen Skinner (VC St Raphael) in 26-50.
