Jack Levick (Rose Race Team) battled to victory by over a minute in the City Road Club (Hull) 10, while Beth Grogan (Selby CC) was equally as impressive to win the women’s event.
Levick, aged 24, took his third victory of the season clocking a winning time of 19 minutes and 50 seconds.
The V714 saw riders start near Gilberdyke before traveling out and back along the B1230 down to Howden before making the return journey.

Just two seconds further back was fellow veteran Ian Guilor (Mapperley CC) who finished third in 20-56.
Spindata had predicted a win for Levick in 20-09 but he bettered that mark by 19 seconds in reality.
