Mark Hill (VeloRefined Rule5) took the top spot in the Wigmore CC 25-mile time trial, while Rebecca Wilson (Rye & Dist Wheelers) was the fastest in the women’s event on Sunday morning.

54-year-old Hill completed the 25 miles in 55:46, nearly a minute faster than anybody else.

56:37 was the time of second placed rider Martin Kober (SFA RT), while taking third place was Chris Jones (Bynea CC) as he clocked a time of 57:08 to secure his place.

Competing in two open events before today, Hill had one podium finish to his name so far in 2022, that came in his last ride out which was in the VTTA 24.7 where he finished third.

In the women’s event it was Rebecca Wilson that came out quickest, completing the 25 miles in 1:06:10.

Wilson was the only woman to ride, this being her third event of the year. Previously she placed in the top three at the Kent CA 25 and the Southborough & Dist. Wheelers 10.
