Jozsef Evans rode to victory for the promoting club in the men’s event, while Laura Gray was fastest woman at the Fibrax Wrexham 25-mile time trial on Saturday afternoon.
Evans, aged 29, completed the out-and-back course in 52 minutes and 46 seconds to beat Bridgnorth CC’s Tim Beardmore in 54-34 while Chris Standidge (Total Tri Training) completed the podium in third (55-02).
Total Tri Training’s Gray clocked one hour, one minute and 15 seconds to take victory in the women’s event, just ahead of Paramount CRT rider Hayley Wells in 1-03-51 and third-placed Joanne Cebrat (Bury Clarion) who registered 1-04-05.
Bridgnorth CC also scooped the team prize thanks to the efforts of Beardmore, Jonathan Mills-Keeling and Paul Mulready.
Beardmore also took home the fastest veteran on standard award with his time equating to +13-22, ahead of John Dromey (Rhos On Sea CC) with +11-42 and Standidge in third with +11-20.
There was also a further award for Robbie Disney, of Ludlow CC, as fastest under-23 with the youngster covering the course in 59-34.
The event, on course D25/23T, starts just outside Market Drayton and heads southbound until Wellington, before retracing the route northbound back towards Market Drayton and finishing just south of the start line.
