Wadsley and Boyman triumph at Farnham RC TTT

Samuel Wadsley and James Boyman were the fastest two-up pair at the Farnham Road Club Team Time Trial in Surrey on Sunday, while David Finn, James Ellis, Luca Morrone and Anthony Levy won the four-up event.

A time of 48-52 was enough for Wadsley (Primera-Teamjobs) and Boyman (Hoops Velo) to take victory ahead of Hounslow & District Wheelers pair James Cadman and Nicolas Stagg in 53-53, while third place went to Stuart McLay and Pete Christensen of Hart Evolution Race Team after registering 55-46.

In the four-up time trial, Finn, Ellis, Levy (all Onyx RT) and Morrone (Regents Park Rouleurs) finished in 54-25 to beat the time of 56-35 set jointly by the promoting club team of Roger Taylor, Stuart Willis, Gary Taylor and Alastair Godfrey and Onyx RT four-piece Kathryn Hughes, Kimberley Burrows, Sophie Curle and Holly Chamarette.

The podium was completed by Jessica Prior, Polly Milsom, Isobel Parker (all Onyx RT) and Amelia Davies (Regents Park Roulers) in 1-00-03.

In the tandem event, David Butler and Peter Butler of Charlotteville Cycling Club were the fastest pair in 1-01-13.

This event, run on the H25/8 course, starts just west of The Bull pub on the A31 and heads through Foryle and Neathan to encircle the Holybourne roundabout and then retrace back through Foyle, past The Bull and encircle the Farnham roundabout back onto the A31, once again encircling the roundabout and back through Froyle to finish just past the county boundary.
