Ben Farrer (Vector CRT) was victorious in the A5 Rangers CC 17-mile time trial in Northamptonshire on Easter Saturday.
35-year-old Farrer went around the NC3 course in 41:50, nearly three minutes quicker than the next fastest rider.
Stu Wright (QN Racing) was the second fastest on the day completing the course in 44:42, while Neil White (Ambion RT) was over 30 seconds back with a finishing time of 45:19.
Farrer went winless in 2021 and had finished outside of the podium spots in his first ride of 2022, finishing 13th at the Eastern Counties CA 10 last month. But he did not disappoint here, taking top spot and putting a long distance between the times of himself and White.
Fastest veteran on the day was earlier mentioned Stu Wright.
The NC3 course is a hilly out and back course that begins in Littleworth and heads north up the A5 passing through Fosters Booth and Church Stowe. Riders turn off the A5 and head towards Farthingstone midway through before heading for home through Litchborough.
