Robbie Mitchell and Christina Murray were fastest male and fastest female respectively at the Fife Century Road Club’s Alistair Speed memorial 50-mile time trial on Sunday morning, with a strong field of 51 riders contesting the event.
A time of 1-50-55 helped Mitchell (Auchenrow Thistle CC) to victory ahead of EHC Star Cycling’s John Waller who clocked 1-53-57, while Jesse Dawson of Vanelli-Project Go took third in 1-54-32.
In the women’s event National 24 champion Murray, of Army Cycling, was quickest in 2-06-27, while Alexandra Ligeti (Vanelli-Project Go) was runner up in 2-11-16 and Team Andrew Allan Architecture rider Kristen Cameron clocked 2-14-40 for third.
