Leah Dixon was fastest woman while Callum Twelves finished as fastest male at the Coventry CC 10-mile time trial in Warwickshire on Sunday morning.
HUNT Morvélo rider Dixon finished 1-24 ahead of the field in 22-51 to take victory, while Janet Birkmyre of TORQ Performance earned second place in 24-15 and Diana Egerton-Warburton (Team Jewson - MI Racing) was 20 seconds further back in third with 24-35.
In the men’s event Twelves (Team Ohten Aveas) set a time of 20-08 with Cheshire Maverick CC’s Nicholas Trbovic second in 20-19 and Charles Walker, of WattShop, seven seconds behind in 20-26.
Luke Allen, Rikky Hughes and Paul Mansfield helped earn Droitwich Cycling Club fastest team honours, while Tim Hood, from Team Bottrill, was fastest veteran on standard with +6-54.
The riders had to deal with cool conditions with continual light rain and breeze on the course.
The route, on course K11/10T, starts just west of Thurlaston Island and heads east towards Fosse Way before reaching the A445 and encircling to retrace the route and finishing 60 yards past the turn to Thurlaston.
