This was Wilson’s second win of the season in open time trialling having previously been victorious in the Stockton Wheelers 23 back in April, but he placed second in both the National Team Time Trial Championship in June as well as the Cleveland Wheelers CC road bike 25.
For Josie Smith this is the fifth time this season she has won the women’s prize in open events, according to her CTT record.
In August she was victorious in the Team Sheffield 10, while in June she won the Drighlington BC 25 and the Vive le Velo 10. In May she won the Selby CC 10 too, so she is enjoying some good form this season.
