David Crawley (Velotik Racing Team) and Keri Parton (Pro Vision RC) took their first wins of the season in the men’s and women’s events at the Lancashire Road Club 10.
Veteran rider Crawley has returned to time trials after missing two season and clinched his first win of the campaign in a time of 20 minutes and 13 seconds.
Crawley’s previous best result was a fourth-place finish in the Velo Club Cumbria 10, on this occasion he averaged a speed of over 29.6 miles per hour on his way to victory.
The L101 saw riders start outside Garstang before completing an out and back course north on the A6 to Hampson Green and back.
Patrick Hickey (Rossendale RC) finished second in the East Lancashire Road Club 10 earlier this season and had to settle for the runners-up spot once again finishing 28 seconds down in 20-41.
Just six seconds further back was Gareth Balshaw (Team ASL-Bolton) who finished third in 20-47.
Crawley was also quickest veteran on scratch ahead of John Morgan (Coveryourcar.co.uk RT - Fitted and Tailored Car Covers) in second (21-06) while David Thompson (Rock to Roll CC) finished third (21-15).
Quickest junior rider was Isaac Lawrence (Rhyl CC) in 21-43 which was just three seconds faster than John Roberts (Garstang Cycling Club).
Meanwhile, quickest tricycle rider was Alan Shuttleworth (Weaver Valley CC) in 32-14.
In the women’s event Parton took her first victory of the season covering the 10 miles in 23-01, an average speed of 26.06 miles per hour.
Veteran rider Deborah Moss (Team Merlin) finished second and was denied victory by just 20 seconds finishing in 23-21.
Fellow veteran Rachel Orton (Tri Preston) completed the podium positions finishing third overall in 23-53.
