Loose Cannon's Conditioning team-mates Lloyd Chapman and Hannah O’Brien continued their impressive seasons by taking the men’s and women’s victories at the Ride Harder 10.
Chapman, from Martlesham in Suffolk, took his sixth win of the season and was the only rider to break the 20-minute barrier stopping the clock in 19 minutes and 52 seconds.
The 31-year-old’s last win came in the Godric CC 50 but he showed his form over the shorter distance this time winning by 33 seconds.
The B10/3A saw riders start near Besthorpe before battling a direct north-easterly headwind down the A11 to the turn near Wymondham.
Despite riders enjoying a tailwind back, with some hitting speeds of up to 40 miles per hour, times were thought to be down by around 30 seconds on usual.
Riders also had to battle a concrete road surface with ridges to be aware of and potholes, but the road is due to be resurfaced soon.
Earlier this season Chapman won the Stowmarket & District CC 10 in a time of 18-59, despite being almost a minute slower on this occasion his result was enough for victory.
On a good day for Loose Cannon's Conditioning quickest veteran Matt O’Brien was second overall behind his team-mate in 20-25.
Just nine seconds further back was veteran Dan Blackburn (Epic Orange Race Team) in 20-36.
In just her second season of open time trials veteran rider O’Brien continued to impress in the women’s event clocking a time of 22-16.
O’Brien, aged 44, also won the Godric CC 50 and Wolsey RC 25 on her last two previous outings.
Fellow veteran Kerry Tate (Newmarket Cycling & Triathlon Club) led the chase behind from a good women’s field finishing second in 24-06, while Becky Robertson (Epic Orange Race Team) completed the podium positions in third (24-28).
