Daniel Watts (Royal Air Force Cycling Association) took a victory on home roads in the North Shropshire Wheelers 25, while veteran Deb Hutson-Lumb (Nova Raiders CC) took the women’s win.
Watts, from Telford, clocked a time of 53 minutes and 41 seconds on the out and back course through the Shropshire countryside.
The D25/23T saw riders helped with a tailwind as they left Tern Hill on the A53 before turning onto the A442 towards Telford and turning at Shawbirch Roundabout.
A tough last 12 miles saw competitors battle a headwind on the return journey back towards Tern Hill.
Watts finished fourth in the Nova Raiders 10 earlier in August but went three positions better on this occasion clocking an average speed of 27.94 miles per hour on his way to victory.
Veterans Victor Chetta (Pirate Juice CC) and Tim Beardmore (Nova Raiders CC) were in a tight battle throughout the event for second position.
Chetta eventually edged out his rivals clocking 54-27 while Beardmore finished third just 11 seconds behind in 54-38.
Junior rider Henri Bedford (Revolution Racing) had another impressive ride winning his category and finishing sixth overall in 56-12.
After also winning the Wrekinsport 10 earlier this month Hutson-Lumb made it a double on the Shropshire time trial scene taking victory in 1-01-15.
Lucy Rogers (Congleton CC) took second in 1-02-47 while Karen Heppenstall (Sportstest RT) completed the podium places in 1-04-58.
