Chris Bartley and Anastasia Bowler were the fastest male and female riders at the VTTA (London & Home Counties) 10-mile time trial that took place near Maidenhead in Berkshire on Thursday.
Bowler (AS Test Team) clocked an impressive time of 22-44 to top the standings in the women’s event and a sixth-place overall finish respectively.
The time trialling ace has had numerous victories already throughout the open season, most recently topping the podium at the Reading CC 10 at the end of July.
She is next set to ride at the www.realteam.co.uk 25 next weekend, as she ups her preparations in build up to the National 10-mile Championship at the end of the month.
Chris Bartley (AS Test Team) topped the standings overall after finishing his run with a time of 19-24.
Bartley has been in impressive form of late as he was also victorious at the Reading CC 10 at the end of July and also topped the podium the weekend before at the Shaftsbury CC 50.
The AS Test Team rider is next set to ride at the VTTA Wessex two-up 25 in mid-September where he will be looking to add another positive result to his record.
Ian Greenstreet (AeroCoach) finished in second place after finishing his run with a time of 21-29, although he did top the standings as the fastest veteran.
Stephen Wilkinson (Folkestone Velo Club) was the man to finish in third with a time of 21-58 respectively.
