James Boyman and Joscelin Lowden were the fastest male and female respectively at the East Sussex CA hardriders 15.1 at Bodle Street Green on Sunday morning.

Lowden (The Independent Pedaler) finished her run with a time of 39-01 to clock the fastest time by a female rider on the day.

The rider, who finished fourth at the National 50 Mile Championship in 2018, will be hoping to add more victories to her record after securing her first open event win of the season.

The 31-year-old was last victorious at the UTAG RT 10 in September of last year and will be hoping to build on today’s victory over the coming weeks, with the rider next due to ride at the Sigma Sports Classic Series 24 next weekend.

James Boyman (Hoops Velo) clocked a time of 32-26 to secure the top step on the podium.

This was the rider’s first victory of the open season after a successful campaign last year.

Boyman was last victorious at the UTAG RT 10 in September of last year as well as finishing ninth at the National 25 Mile Championship in August.

Neil Lauder (Arctic Tacx RT) clocked a time of 33-33 to be the second fastest male on the day.

This was the rider’s second podium finish of the open season after topping the podium at the Southborough and District Wheelers 10 on New Year’s Day.

The 36-year-old secured several victories throughout the 2018 season, most notably topping the podium at the DIW Wheelers four-up in September.

Pete Morris (Team ASL) was the third fastest male on the day, after finishing his run with a time of 35-11. This was his first podium finish of the open season after securing several throughout the 2018 calendar year. The 40-year-old last topped the podium at the Eastbourne Rovers CC 25 in September.
