Simon Hance (Stowmarket & District CC) and Kerry Tate (Newmarket Cycling & Triathlon Club) battled against wet and windy conditions to win the men’s and women’s categories at the Norwich ABC 10.
Veteran Hance finished second in the Godric CC 10 last month and went one better on this occasion finishing in 20 minutes and 29 seconds.
The B10/43 course saw riders start from near Harleston before heading east along the A143 before turning for home at Bungay.
A close battle for second saw Paul Jay (Team Velovelocity) clock 20.48, which was just two seconds quicker than Martin Reynolds (Cambridge CC).
Despite the wet conditions Tate clocked the fastest women’s time of 24 minutes and five seconds - a minute faster than her winning time in the St Ives CC 10 last week.
Jennifer Smart (Team Velovelocity) took second in 25.19 while Jo Fisk (Ride Harder) finished third clocking 25.42.
