Marcel Schubert and Louise Hamilton were the fastest male and female respectively at the Cleveland Wheelers CC 18-mile time trial that took place near Stokesley in North Yorkshire on Sunday morning.
Schubert (Darlington CC) clocked a time of 39-15 to set the fastest time by any rider on the day and clinch the top prize.
Schubert was last victorious at the Cleveland Wheelers hilly 25 and most recently achieved a third place finish at the Cleveland Coureurs 25 at the end of June. He will be hoping his good form can continue over the coming weeks as he is set to ride at the Croft 10 mile TT Series on the 24th of July.
Paul Thirling (Hartlepool CC) was the man to finish in second with a time of 41-07 after his 18-miles. Paul Fountain finished in third with a time of 41-11.
Fountain last achieved a podium finish at the VTTA 10 at the start of June and will be hoping to continue his good form over the reaming months of the open season.
Louise Hamilton (Mountain Goat Coaching) clocked a time of 48-41 to finish as the fastest female rider respectively.
Hamilton last achieved a podium finish at the Cleveland Wheelers CC 25 in mid-June and will be looking to add more positive results to her record before the end of the season.
She is next expected to ride at the RTTC national 25-mile Championship which takes place near Etwall in Derbyshire on the 27th of July.
