Nick Livermore and Kimberley Pickett were the fastest male and female respectively at the Western TTA 100-mile time trial that took place near Malmesbury in Wiltshire on Sunday morning.
Livermore (Bristol South CC) clocked a time of 3-58-35 to add another victory to his palmares.
The Bristol South CC rider was last victorious at his own club’s 25 at the end of March and will be hoping to add more good results to his record over the remaining months of the season. Livermore is next due to ride at the Bynea CC 25 next weekend.
Kimberley Pickett (Bicester Millennium CC) finished her run with a time of 4-55-03 to finish the day as the fastest female rider. This was around a minute and a half ahead of Joanne Jago (Performance Cycles) in second, while Emily Walton (Beeston CC) was third.
This was Pickett’s first victory of the open season and will be looking to add more success to her record over the coming months, she is next due to ride at the Revo Racing 10 on the 26th of June.
Robert Glover (Bradford-Upon-Avon CC) finish in second spot after finishing with a time of 4-01-21.
Glover has achieved numerous podium finishes throughout the season, most notably finishing second at the Cheltenham and County CC 22 at the end of April. He is next set to compete at the RTTC National 50-mile Championships at the end of the month.
The 100-mile course saw the riders start and finish near Minety, passing through Charlton, Malmesbury and Burton Hill as part of the course.
