Richard Bickley and Erica Booth were the fastest male and female respectively at the Kent Valley RC 25-mile time trial which took place near Levens in Cumbria on Sunday morning.

Booth (Lancashire RC) broke her own course record of 58-58 when she finished her run with a time of 57-46 to set the fastest time by a female rider that day.

The Lancashire RC rider adds this victory to the one that she achieved at the Croston Velo 10 at the end of April and will be looking to add more to her record over the remainder of the season.

Richard Bickley (Border City Wheelers) clocked a time of 50-50 to set the fastest time by any rider on the day.

The 36-year-old adds this victory to the one that he achieved at the Nelson Wheelers 10 at the start of the month and the second place finish he earned at the Preston Wheelers 25 last weekend.

Bickley will be hoping to continue his fine form over the remainder of the season and put more victories on his record.

Derek Parkinson (Springfield Financial RT) was the man to finish in second after finishing his run with a time of 53-20 to claim his share of the prize money.

Parkinson last achieved a podium finish at the West Pennine 25 on the 12th of June as well as finished third at the Nelson Wheelers 10 at the start of the month. He will be hoping to push on and achieve more over the coming months.

Beau Smith (Ribble Cycles) was the man to finish in third after finishing his run with a time of 53-31.
