Chris Fennell and Lisa Davis were the fastest male and female respectively at the San Fairy Ann CC 10-mile time trial which took place near Tonbridge in Kent on Sunday morning.
Time trialling ace Fennell (The Independent Pedaler) smashed his own course record by an impressive 29 seconds to top the podium with a time of 18-01.
The 23-year-old was last victorious at the realteam.co.uk 25 at the end of July and also finished second at the National 50-mile Championship earlier in the season.
Fennell will be looking to continue his excellent form over the coming weeks as his preparations for the National 10-mile Championship are stepped up.
Daniel Northover (Finsbury Park CC) finished second after clocking a time of 18-57, while the winner’s brother Nicholas Fennell (Thanet RC) completed the podium as he finished his run with a time of 19-04.
Lisa Davis (trainSharp) topped the standings in the women’s event after finishing her 10 miles with a time of 22-39 respectively.
Davis was most recently victorious at the East Sussex CA 100 last weekend and will be hoping to build on her winning form over the coming weeks in preparation for the National 10-mile Championship.
The team prize was achieved by Abellio SFA RT as Tom Rowling, Mark Baker and Dean Chiddention finished with a combined time of 1-00-23.
