Jessica Rhodes-Jones (Beacon Roads CC) clocked a time of 23-59 to be the fastest women at the Nova Raiders 10 on Saturday, while Ryan Morley was the overall fastest male.
She continues her good form after she also achieved victory at the Aerocoach 10 last weekend. The 28-year-old was also victorious at the Beacon RCC 10 and the Worcester St John CC 10 in June.
Ryan Morley (Royal Air Force Cycling Association) clocked a time of 21-30 to be the fastest past the timekeepers that day.
Morley adds this victory to the one he secured at the Rhos-On-Sea CC 10 in August. The 24-year-old from Wrexham also topped the podium at the Shropshire CCA four-up in the same month.
Second spot was clinched by Christopher Halford (Wrekinsport CC) who finished with a time of 22-18. This is his first podium finish of the season having finished second at this event last year.
Bryn Davies (Hafren CC) finished in third. Halford had an advantage of three seconds over 45-year-old Davies from Shrewsbury who finished with a time of 22-21.
The veteran rider finished second at the Nova Raiders 25 in May and he also achieved a third place finish at the Mid Shropshire Wheelers 50 earlier in the season.
The out-and-back course was relatively flat and saw the riders navigate their way down the B5065 near Tibberton towards Newport. When the riders reached the market town they turned around and headed back along the same road to finish.
