Simon Beldon (Team Bottrill-Vanguard) maintained his great recent form as he won the Yorkshire Cycling Federation 30-mile time trial on Saturday.
Beldon claimed the maximum 150 ranking points after finishing second in the previous round to rival Andy Jackson.
49 and from Leeds, Beldon finished in 1-03-06, 54 seconds ahead of second-placed Jackson to take his 13th victory of the year.
Philip Graves (NOPINZ) finished second in last year’s running of the 30-mile time trial to Adam Duggleby and couldn’t improve his placing on Saturday as he equalled that with a time of 1-04-00.
Graves has four wins this year with a further five podiums to add to his record.
Bronte Wheelers rider Stephen Ayres capped off the podium spots, his time of 1-05-22 helped him on his way to a sixth podium of the year with his last win coming in the VTTA North Lancs & Lakes 25 back in April.
Starting on Marton Lane just outside of Arkendale, riders follow the A1(M) for the majority of the event. Despite the V241 course being on relatively flat surfaces, the course is certainly undulating.
