Emma Lewis and Chris Fennell were victorious at the VTTA Kent 15-mile time trial on Sunday morning.
Fennell (The Independent Pedaler) set a new course record as he clocked a time of 28-52 to be the fastest male. The 23-year-old rider has been in fine form throughout the time trialling season racking up numerous victories.
He was last victorious at the Kent CA 25 at the start of September as well as finishing in sixth place at the National 50 Mile Championship at the end of the month.
Nicholas Fennell (Thanet RC) finished second behind brother Chris when he clocked a time of 29-51. The 25-year-old has also been in good form throughout the season, finishing top of the podium on several occasions.
He was last victorious at the VTTA Kent 25 in mid-September while also being the fastest male at the Thanet RC 10 at the beginning of the same month.
Third place was clinched by Kevin Tye (VeloRefined.com Aerosmiths) who clocked a time of 30-01.
The 57-year-old veteran rider was last victorious at the Essex Roads CC 10 in August and has had numerous other podium finishes throughout the season.
The fastest female rider on Sunday was Emma Lewis (The Independent Pedaler) who also set a new women’s course record with a time of 31-44.
Lewis recently finished second at the National 50 Mile Championships at the end of September and also finished in the same position at the National 25.
