Paul Pardoe made it two wins in 2018 as Emma Koppe makes it three in round five of the Northampton & District CA TT series.
Pardoe has had a relatively good record so far in the Northampton & District TT series and continued it as he was victorious in a rescheduled round five.
In the series, Pardoe had gone 5-1-4-3-4-2 in the events he has ridden, with his last win in all competitions coming in round two. The top step had eluded him since but a time of 32-17 turned the tide back in his favour.
Ryan Witchell (Team Salesengine.co.uk) finished second with a time of 32-52 and had to continue his drought of wins. Witchell has had numerous seconds but the 22-year-old has been waiting for a win since September last year.
Veteran Kevin Hobbs (Peterborough CC) secured his best finish of the season and only podium with a time of 33-54 in third.
Emma Koppe (CC Ashwell) took her second win in the TT series with round five making it back to back top spots.
Koppe clocked 40-19 to solidify a good claim of being eventual series winner with two wins, two thirds and a sixth place.
1-45 adrift of Koppe was Elaine Maitland (Bonito Squadra Corse) in second with a time of 42-04 over the 15-mile distance whilst Leanne Cutler (Hitchin Nomads CC) was third in 43-05.
Trystan Barnett (45 RC) took the fastest junior prize by 29 seconds ahead of Jack Pinchin (QN Coaching).
