Former National 25, 50 and 100-mile Champion Ryan Perry chalked up another win to his tally on Saturday with victory in the West Pennine RC hilly 14.
The Drag2zero rider was 50 seconds quicker than any of the other 54 riders that started the course in Knowle Green, Lancashire, completing in 28.05.
Saint Piran espoir Fraser Martin was second quickest in 28.55 with North Lancashire RC rider Mark Haydock third, 10 seconds off Martin’s time.
Although he narrowly missed out on second place, the result was good enough to give Haydock the prize for fastest veteran.
Amy Gornall, finishing 15th overall, was the fastest woman by just over a minute. The Secret-Training CC rider completed in 33.15 to top the podium. Down in 21st overall, Steph Mottram was second fastest woman on the day, the Torelli-Beastwear-Brother member stopping the clock at 34.16.
Junior rider Corinne Side of The Racing Chance Foundation recorded an impressive time of 34.59 to complete the top three.
